Das MIT-Forschungsteam entwickelte ein modulares System aus neun schweren Betonbauteilen.</p>
<p>Jedes Modul besitzt eine präzise berechnete Geometrie, die kontrolliertes Kippen, Rotieren und Verlagern ermöglicht. So kann sich ein Wohnsystem verändern, ohne abgebrochen oder materialintensiv umgebaut zu werden.</p>
<p>Cemex entwickelte dafür eine Ultra-High-Performance-Betonmischung, die auf extreme Dauerhaftigkeit ausgelegt ist. Beton fungiert als Tragstruktur, Speichermasse und bewegliches Organisationsprinzip zugleich.</p>
